1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using UhVoice ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

UhVoice is a privacy-first voice recording application that provides voice enrollment, recording, transcription, and summarization services. The Service uses voice identification technology to filter recordings to include only consented speakers.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate information during registration.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Record individuals without their knowledge or consent where required by law
Use the Service for any illegal purpose
Attempt to bypass voice identification or consent mechanisms
Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise the Service
Share your account credentials with others
Use the Service to harass, stalk, or intimidate others

5. Recording Consent

You are solely responsible for obtaining proper consent before recording any individual. Laws regarding recording consent vary by jurisdiction. Some jurisdictions require all-party consent for recording conversations. UhVoice provides consent management tools, but compliance with local laws is your responsibility.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all recordings and content you create using the Service. UhVoice does not claim ownership of your content. We only process your content as needed to provide the Service (transcription, summarization, voice filtering).

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability.

8. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. Upon deletion, all your data including recordings, transcripts, voice profiles, and personal information will be permanently removed. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. UhVoice shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
